Move your Naples business website to a platform your team can actually manage, with every page, image, and URL accounted for. I currently run Contentful-to-WordPress migrations for a U.S. government agency, and I bring the same checklist to a twelve-page local site.

01 — What’s included

Most migrations go wrong in the details: redirects nobody mapped, images that silently 404, form submissions that stop arriving. My process starts with a full content and URL inventory, maps every content type to its new home, and validates the result before anything goes live. You see the new site on a staging URL and approve it before cutover.

  1. 01Full content and URL inventory of the current site
  2. 02Content model mapping (pages, posts, products, custom fields, media)
  3. 03Automated import with validation reports, not copy-and-paste
  4. 04301 redirect map and metadata carried over page by page
  5. 05Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance check before launch
  6. 06Staging review, scheduled cutover, and a rollback plan
Local context — Naples

Naples customers expect polish. Luxury real estate, home services, wellness practices, and hospitality businesses in Collier County are judged on their website before the first call, so design quality, speed, and accessibility matter as much as rankings. Many Naples sites also serve a bilingual staff and clientele.

Websites rarely need only one thing done to them. For Naples businesses I also take on business websites in Naples and e-commerce websites in Naples, and just up the road I cover website migration in Bonita Springs and website migration in Fort Myers.

Website migration in Naples

Naples businesses often have a polished site that is expensive to maintain, built on a theme or page builder that slows every edit. A migration keeps the look your clients know, moves the content to a cleaner build your team can update, and protects the rankings you already have in Collier County with a full URL map and redirects tested before launch.

Who I build for in Naples

  • Luxury real estateBuyers expect large, sharp photography that still loads fast, plus listing and neighborhood pages that read as well on a phone as on a desktop.
  • Wellness, med spa, and aestheticsClients judge the brand by the site before they book, so design, clear consultation steps, and online booking carry the sale.
  • Home services for seasonal residentsMany owners live elsewhere part of the year, so the site has to explain services, scheduling, and communication clearly to someone who is not in town.
  • Restaurants and hospitalityReservations, menus, and private-event inquiries should take a few taps, and the site has to match the experience guests expect in person.

03 — Process

Four steps and no surprises: you approve the scope before work starts and the site before it launches.

01

Discovery

A short call or email exchange about your goals, your customers and what is not working today. Free, with no commitment.

02

Proposal

A written scope, timeline and fixed price, so you know exactly what you are getting before anything starts.

03

Development

The work happens on a staging site you can open at any time, with plain-language updates at agreed checkpoints.

04

Delivery

Testing, a launch in a low-traffic window, documentation and a handoff session, then support while your team settles in.

04 — Questions

01Can we meet in person in Naples?

Yes, when it helps. Most projects run remotely, and I can meet in Naples for a kickoff or final review. Many Naples clients are here only part of the year, so the process also works entirely by video call and email.

02Can my site be in English and Spanish?

Yes. I build bilingual sites with a separate, properly tagged page for each language, so Google shows each visitor the right version instead of treating the translation as duplicate content. This site is built the same way.

03Which platforms can you migrate from?

Contentful, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Drupal, Joomla, static HTML, and older or hacked WordPress installs. Destinations are usually WordPress (often with WooCommerce) or a Next.js site when you need a custom application.

04How long does a migration take for a Naples business?

A typical local business site of 10 to 50 pages takes two to four weeks including review. Larger catalogs or sites with many custom content types are scoped after the inventory.

05Will my site be down during the switch?

No. The new site is built on a staging URL. Cutover is a DNS change scheduled for a low-traffic window, usually under an hour, with the old site kept available for rollback.

05 — Service areas

I work with businesses across Florida, on both coasts. Pick your city for details specific to your area.
